ABOUT JBAA
FOUNDATION AND ITS OBJECTIVES
"Japan Business Aircraft Association" (JBAA) was founded on 14th May 1996. Its objectives are to popularize the use of, and to promote reinforcement of the infrastructure of "Business Aviation" in Japan.
In May. 2001 the associatio was reorganized under the name of "Japan Busines Aviation Association" (JBAA), and then Apr.2003 was approved by Tokyo Metropolitan Government as "Not-for-profit" organization .



JBAA'S ROLE & MISSION
Today, the demands of "Business Aviation" that wish to access to Tokyo or its metropolitan areas from abroad, especially from U.S.A., have been increasing rapidly. JBAA is very proud to be a member of the International Business Aviation Council(IBAC)and has important role to popularize the use ,and to promote safety of business aviation in Japan, and also to support the flight accesses for the business aviation from abroad to Japan.



JBAA'S MEMBERS
JBAA's members consist of the various kinds of the companies or organizations such as governmental agencies, trading firms, aircraft manufacturers, aircraft flight operation companies, aircraft maintenance companies, ground handling service companies, insurance companies, or aircraft financial service companies, etc.

JBAA's ACTIVITIES
  1. Set measures and make proposals for contributions to the enhancement of peoples' socioeconomic lives through business aviation.
  2. Conduct studies and make proposals regarding the preparedness of major airports to accept business aviation, the improvement of related legislation and the establishment of safe and orderly flight operations.
  3. Participate in studies, surveys and discussions related to the demand for business aviation, matters of request and policy development as a member of international organizations related to business aviation.
  4. Exchange information, examine and gather materials to ensure safe and smooth flight operations by business aviation on the basis of close cooperation with similar organizations around the world.
  5. Conduct research regarding the safety of business aviation and propose efficient measures to prevent accidents.
  6. Perform activities related to the operation and management of highly communal and public business facilities for business aviation and do the procurement and use of ground support equipment, machinery, etc.
  7. Publish bulletins and other publications and host lectures and study meetings.
  8. Conduct other activities necessary to achieve the purposes of this Association.
